Story

The London Marathon is iconic and every year we are very fortunate to have amazing people who take on the 26.2 miles. With running costs increasing, we rely heavily on the fundraising this event generates from all the wonderful people who sponsor the runners. Please show your support for the 2025 Pendleside Hospice London Marathon runners.

Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

Pendleside currently costs £6.1 million per year to run and only receives around 20% funding, therefore heavily relies on charitable donations and sponsorship raised by fantastic supporters.

Pendleside has a very special place in mine and Glyn’s families hearts, as they gave outstanding end of life care to both our dads. It’s a great chance to give back and say thank you!
