Event: Stride Against Suicide, on 22 September 2024
In memory of Alfie Simpson (Forever 19)
Stride Against Suicide is not your usual running event! You and your team of up to 5 will run (or walk!) as many laps as you can in 2 hours around the beautiful landscaped grounds of Fell Foot at the south end of Lake Windermere.

Story

Family and Friends of Alfie Simpson are taking part in this event to help fundraise for a wonderful charity that helps bereaved families of suicide. We all know Alfie loved a fancy dress get-together so in memory of all the daft outfits he wore over the years, we shall do that!

Come and join the forever 19 teams and get talking!!!

Thanks so much for everyone's support so far!

Every life matters!

Suicide is everyone’s business!

We have a vision of a society where suicide is openly and widely discussed, where people feel able to seek help when all feels lost and are suitably supported when they do reach out, a society where everyone understands the role they can play in suicide prevention, and where those bereaved and impacted by suicide receive the support they need when they need it.
