Story

Around 10 years ago I was training for the half marathon. Unfortunately I gained an injury resulting in me not being able to run the marathon.

It has always been a challenge I have wanted to achieve. So I have signed myself up for the Leicester Half marathon in October.

I would like to raise money for my chosen charity Loros. Any one that has had to deal with cancer will understand how important this charity is and helps families through very difficult times.

My lovely friends at The Three Tuns Barlestone have offered to do a charity night with raffle prizes and a live singer on Saturday 21st September.

If you would like to show your support and buy a raffle ticket please contact me or alternatively you could sponsor me.

Thank you so much for your support.

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
