I'm excited to be running the 2024 Oxford Half Marathon for The Story Museum! Please support me and the rest of Team TSM, and donate to help The Story Museum to continue to enrich lives, especially young lives, through story.

But...Why do stories matter?

Stories make a positive impact on children, particularly those with fewer opportunities for cultural engagement. We use stories of all forms to develop literacy, confidence and wellbeing, helping to raise educational attainment and fulfil potential. We do this by making sure all of our programming is accessible. In a city in which 26% of children live below the poverty line, The Story Museum has a lively and vibrant participation programme, working with selected schools, community groups and families where we can have an especially significant impact on literacy, creativity, wellbeing and social cohesion.

All of the funds raised here will go to our Learning and Participation projects, helping EVEN more children and young people take part in projects that will enhance their learning.
