My son has comorbid special needs, his life long conditions will exclude limit isolate and restrict him...from a fully free and independent life.

At Percy Hedley foundation charity school for children with complex needs, he has access to an education setting where the staff are so kind and supporting, he has a place where he can be safe and have fun and learn.

It's nearly half way at Alston now and the head winds at 1900 feet - feel like 30miles per hour... The chaffing, muscle burn, knee ache and shoulder aches and hill after hill from Whitehaven to Sunderland in three days....will all be worth it and motivated by helping the charity continue to do its work...
