When Lucie was still a bump as Baby K, we made the most of the pregnancy hormones and grew my hair, which is being donated to Little Princess Trust 👑.

Little Princess Trust: ‘provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. We also fund childhood cancer research searching to find kinder and more effective treatments.’

Traditionally, any fundraising would go to this charity, however what has happened to our family has given me motivation to chose a different charity for any money, so both benefit.

I have chosen to fundraise for SPOONS, who ‘are committed to supporting family centred care, improving family facilities, and providing emotional and practical support to parents experiencing neonatal care.’

They ‘Provide parent peer support; Support parents following discharge from neonatal care; Raise awareness of neonatal care; Raise funds to improve patient experience and family services on the neonatal unit.’.
