On Thursday 24th October staff arrived at Ysgol Feithrin Pont-y-pwl to find the kitchen door broken and a huge mess! Every cupboard and drawer had been emptied everywhere, money boxes emptied and all of the food eaten.

I've set up this fundraising page to try to re-coup some of what was taken, cover the costs of replacing and improving the locks on the doors and get some CCTV/video recording system to try to avoid this happening in the future.

Ysgol Feithrin Pont-y-pwl has been a huge part of the community for the last 40 years, and this is the first time something like this has happened. We are confident that we can continue to be a community presence and continue to support to development of the welsh language within Torfaen.

Ar Ddydd Iau 24ain o Hydref cyrhaeddodd staff Ysgol Feithrin Pont-y-pwl i ddarganfod bod drws y gegin wedi torri a llanast enfawr! Roedd pob cwpwrdd a drôr wedi cael eu gwagio ym mhobman, bocsys arian wedi'u gwagio a'r holl fwyd wedi'i fwyta.
