Our dedicated heroes taking on the 2024 London Marathon in support of hospice care services in our community.

Story

I am running the London Marathon this year in memory of Daisy Evans who was a very special and much loved friend and running partner.

It was a comfort for family and friends to visit Daisy at the Hospice. The staff were so friendly and she was delighted that she could order anything she fancied to eat from the kitchen - she loved her lamb dinner!

Daisy loved the ability to walk around the garden from her room and take in every opportunity to enjoy access to fresh air which was so important to her.

Every penny that is raised will contribute to the continued provision of this quality, personal service to those who have life-limiting illness.

On behalf of all who use this service, we cannot praise the Hospice enough for their kindness, support and compassion

xx
