Extreme Abseil · 3 May 2025 to 4 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
3 generations of Inghams have decided to be really brave and take on Ipswich Hospital's Tower by abseiling down it!
Cynthia Ingham aged 83, her grandson Aaron Ingham aged 43 and his son, Cynthia’s great grandson Cayden aged 21 along with Cayden’s mum (me) will be abseiling on Sunday 4th May…. May the 4th be with them.
Cynthia was the first to sign up and as soon as we heard the news, that this beautiful little lady was brave enough to abseil from the maternity building we soon joined her. Cynthia is not afraid of heights but she is petrified of the lift up to the top of the building. This abseil was a compromise as she originally wanted to do a wing walk ✈️
We are so excited to do this abseil and look forward to your support.
It's 135 feet high, but every foot will count towards fundraising for Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity. They are the official NHS charity of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
We are helping to take care of patients and staff at my local hospitals and healthcare centres. They provide those extras that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, and which make such a difference to happiness and healing.
With your support we can help provide the hospitals with the life-saving equipment and cutting-edge technology that can transform the healthcare available to our friends and family, when they need it most.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
