Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you are all aware I have (Sarah) been battling with MS for nearly 20 years now!
I have recently changed my treatment drug to try & improve my daily functioning of my life & mobility but the jury is still out if it’s any good just yet.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move feel and think.
Gary my amazing husband is cycling the 2024 Round the Harbours, to support the work of the MS Society. He is cycling 54 miles from Gosport all around the local harbours & back again.
More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.
The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.
Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
