Event: Step Up for Isabel, from 15 January 2024 to 12 February 2024
In memory of my mum, Edna, who many years ago received outstanding hospice care from kind and supportive staff
Step Up For Isabel is a walking challenge for anyone who is passionate about staying active and supporting local hospice care.

Story

I have been Volunteering with Isabel Hospice for a few months now but would like to do more.

I have pledged to walk 100 miles in a month, with Jez along for support whenever possible, to raise money for the Hospice. Isabel Hospice nurses walk an average of 8000 steps a shift which equates to around the same as I am pledging to walk, through planned walks each day.

As well as the Hospices In Patient unit, there is also the Clinical Specialist home team providing end of life care in the home, bereavement support for families, and the Living Well community hub service too. As a charity, Isabel Hospice rely heavily on donations to keep all of these vital services running.

If you could please make a donation to enable Isabel Hospice to continue to support others in their time of need it would be very much appreciated. Their services cost £7 million a year to run so every little helps

Thank you
