The CNWL NHS Health Charity raises funds for exciting and pioneering projects that improve health and well-being for our patients, staff and communities, by investing in people, projects and ideas which complement and enhance what the Central and North West London NHS Trust is able to provide.

As Service Director for Inner London I see first hand the wonderful care that staff deliver to children, families, patients and carers in our communities. Thank yous and compliments from patients and carers are well received and mean a huge amount to our staff.

Donations to our CNWL charity add to this by investing in people, projects and ideas which complement and enhance the care we are able to provide. Our staff have benefited from initiatives such as gifting an individual 'wellbeing box' for every member of staff working on Christmas Day, and most recently providing prizes for our Active April Step Challenge. These initiatives foster a sense of belonging, a team spirit and through this support us to deliver the best care.

I'm an enthusiastic open water swimmer and am really looking forward to swimming the Serpentine with my swim buddy Rachel for this excellent cause. Thanks for supporting me!
