Leland was diagnosed with MDS blood cancer and chromosome 7 in the marrow in September 2022. He urgently needed Stem cell transplant within 4 months as his only cure. Unfortunately none of our family were a match, so we needed to raise awareness to gain a donor to save Lelands life. Anthony Nolan stepped in and found that special donor.

One year on after on Lelands immune system is recovering and he is cancer free all through the amazing doctors and nurses at the RVI Newcastle and that amazing donor.
