Story
Recently our good friend Tara and her family were dealt the devastating news that her mum, Queen Claire, has MND.
Seeing how this has effected Claire and her family, we knew we needed to do something. We have teamed together to take on a challenge which will hopefully raise some money to eventually end MND in the future.
Claire's hometown is Winterton-on-Sea, but the place she now calls home is Hawick. This has built the basis of our challenge as we will be driving golf balls the equivalent distance ... 338 miles = 594,880 yards!
On Monday 28th October at Ashkirk Driving range a team of us will be hitting balls to cover this distance, using Trackman and Foresight technology to ensure we cover the distance. If you would like to come and support us on the day we would love to see you!
MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neuron Disease (MND), as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure.
We want a world without Motor Neuron Disease, so we are fundraising because we want to help find a cure for this devastating disease.
Please donate anything you can so together we can help MND Scotland provide practical, financial, and emotional support to people affected by MND.
