Story
Following the success of our climb up Mount Snowdon, Max and I have decided to take on another challenge but this time we need your help!
We have signed up to take part in the commando at Hever and would really appreciate any donations you can give to spur us on to the finish line. All donations will be going to Jigsaw (South East). JSE is a charity that supports children and young people across Surrey, parts of West Sussex and West Kent. They provide guidance and support to families and professionals who are caring for a child or young person who has experienced the death or is facing the death of a loved one.
Max ‘I chose to do this event as is it looks like a tough challenge but not as tough as it would be to lose someone I love. I wanted to do this to help raise some money for Jigsaw so they can keep helping children in my local area’
Sarah. ‘I have worked for Jigsaw for over 8 years now and I am still astounded by how many children and young people there are in our area that have faced the death of someone they love. In recent years the number of children and young people contacting the charity for support has grown significantly. Jigsaw does not receive any government funding and relies solely on grants and fundraising events like this, so I wanted to give back by doing (or attempting to do) this challenge’.
