Running a marathon has been on my bucket list for years! While I used to compete as an endurance athlete, I hung up my running shoes a long time ago when life got busy with two young boys. Now, I’ve dusted them off (literally) to take on this huge challenge and raise money for Personal Best Foundation, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
Personal Best Foundation creates opportunities for young people from deprived communities to enjoy athletics and experience the life-changing impact of sport. I know firsthand how sport can help young people build their confidence, create life long friendships, form healthy life habits, and find enjoyment in new challenges... Like trying to run 26.2 miles after a 10-year break!
