I'm taking part in Ride for Precious Lives 2025 for Children's Hospice South West.

I'll be cycling over 200 miles across 3 counties over 3 days to raise vital funds for children and young people living with life limiting conditions and their families.

This is my third RFPL but this time I am privileged to be joining "Team Goose". Goose is the nickname of a very special little girl called Ophelia.

Ophelia has an ultra rare life limiting condition called RNF13, and suffers from various heath complications including severe epilepsy, breathing difficulties, scoliosis and CVI.

CHSW provides hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care they offer is wide ranging; hospice breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.

Ophelia and her family have been able to receive respite care from CHSW, specifically Little Harbour near St Austell. The time spent here is truly priceless and a place to create memories that may otherwise be impossible.
