Story

As some of you might already know, my Dad had a stroke recently. It’s been a crazy rollercoaster, to be honest. We’ve had our ups and downs, but through it all, we’ve found a lot of help and support from the Stroke Association, guiding us and so many others through this rough time.

To give back a bit and help others going through the same thing myself and sister have committed to running 50 miles throughout September. They do awesome work - from research to providing resources and a helping hand to those who really need it.

If you can chip in, even just a bit, It would mean the world to myself, sister, and loads of others facing the challenges of a stroke. If you can’t donate right now, no worries. Just sharing our page or sending some good vibes our way makes a huge difference too.

It does not matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
