OUR WHY: Our lives changed forever when I was diagnosed with cancer at 30-years-old. We had just married, bought our first home and BAM, cancer. Throughout my diagnosis, treatment, surgeries and more, we were so embraced by our friends, family and community who allowed us to survive mentally, emotionally and, arguably most importantly, financially. The support we received allowed us to retain our savings while ensuring my medical bills were paid.

WHY IWIN: I was given a grant in the midst of six months of chemo. I was ELATED to be able to care for myself and not automatically allocate incoming funds to bills. I received $200 for groceries and elected to use my other $200 for a much needed massage.

IWIN doesn't turn applications down because of income because at the end of the day, NO ONE budgets for cancer.

SARA'S COMMITMENT: 100% of profits from any book purchases during these 100 days will go towards our goal. I'll also be making asks to my network and booking some babysitting gigs!

JACOB'S COMMITMENT: He is training and running his first marathon in early November in honor of his lovely surviving wife and IWIN. If you donate, your name will go on his race day tshirt! I'll be posting updates to rack up donations as he racks up the miles!
