Story
During the month of November I have accepted the challenge to knit for 30 minutes a day. But as I knit for a minimum of two hours everyday I have decided to create my own challenge.
I have designed a unique sock pattern and I shall be knitting as many socks as I can within the month and will sell them online at the end of the challenge with all the money raised from the sale of the socks going to the charity.
Having had Cancer myself I appreciate the need for researching this disease as much as possible.
Please read below information reguarding this charity that I have choosen to support.
Every 10 minutes somewhere another child, teenager or adult is diagnosed with this brutal disease and they face a 5-year chance of survival at little over 50%. This drops even further if the disease is discovered late and has already progressed.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the only charity dedicated to this disease, they are a small but national charity based in Leeds, UK. They fund ground-breaking research, life-saving awareness initiatives and provide dedicated, trustworthy information and support to patients and all their loved ones, all without any government funding.
They rely 100% on amazing people like you supporting their work through donations.
Challenges like this one directly help fund the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Help to support them today 🧡
