We’re calling on all hardy souls to swim 50m in the freezing waters of the Sandford Parks Lido in Cheltenham on Saturday 17th February 2024. Why? All the money you raise will help us support grieving children, young people and their families.

Story

Together Sara & Laura will be looking to swim a minium of 50m, outdoors, in freezing cold waters for Winston Wish charity.

Back Story: Laura's daughters were aged just 10 & 7 years, when whilst on holiday thier Dad suddenly passed away. Winston Wish helped them in their time of grief. Winston’s Wish is a charity that helps children, young people and families to find their feet when their worlds are turned upside down by grief.

Through information, on-demand services, bereavement support and counselling, we support young people to understand their feelings, process their grief and find ways to move forward with pe for a brighter future.

We also help the adults who are caring for young grieving people including parents, school staff and healthcare professionals.
