Gareth was a much-loved member of staff. He was a good friend to many as well as being a caring, committed and excellent teacher. He was one of life’s true gentle giants and only ever wanted the best for the children he taught. Gareth is still very much in our thoughts as our school community tries to come to terms with this devastating loss. The F6 children asked that their chosen charity this year be a charity close to Gareth’s heart and his family have suggested The Wooden Spoon. We are very grateful for all your support and hope that the day will be a touching way for the children and all our community to come together to celebrate such a special person.

Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of rugby who support and fund life-changing projects across the Uk and Ireland. Wooden Spoon will be supporting Pass the Plate, a scheme that provides donations that will contribute to putting much needed food on the plates of many children.
