Story
After Ryan and Amy Jackson lost Lily Mae on 7 February 2010, they took their tragedy and turned it into something good for people who go through similar experiences of baby loss, founding the Lily Mae Foundation.
The Foundation provides a support network to bereaved parents following the loss of a baby, support and training for healthcare professionals, and further research into what more can be done to prevent baby loss.
Alongside this, they also provide help in coping with bereavement, using their own personal experience to guide them in providing the right support for those experiencing the loss of a baby.
Last year they celebrated their 10-year anniversary, having helped over 1,000 parents, distributing over 4,000 memory boxes, and Amy also providing one-to-one support.
This is why I promised to fundraise for the Lily Mae Foundation and take part in their skydive. Please donate to help support their vital work the Foundation do (and to get me jumping out of that plane!)
