Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. By the time you've made your brew, another person will have developed dementia.

It’s over 10 years since we lost our lovely Dad John to Vascular Dementia. His smart brain kept it at bay for longer than normal but in the end, it got the better of him. At the time, we didn’t get any help as the Dementia UK support service was severely underfunded.

Dementia UK believes that every family affected by dementia should have the support of a specialist nurse. We certainly would have benefited.

This May, we’re going to bake, brew and raise vital funds for families facing dementia and we are really grateful for any support you can give. If you’re near to us, please pop in on Weds 7 May from 1100-1500 and buy a cuppa and cake (or two!). Hope to see you! Mark, Sandy & Elaine xx
