I'm taking part in Manchester city centre's ONLY firewalk, and raising funds for We Love MCR Charity!

I'll be one of 100 firewalkers testing my resolve and braving 700-degree hot coals in this ultimate mind-over-matter challenge...

This is to raise funds for We Love MCR (my choosen charity for the year as President of the Insurance Institute of Manchester) giving heart, hope and opportunity to Manchester's communities & young people.They do this by:

- Empowering Manchester's unbeatable communities to improve the lives of people in their neighbourhoods with the Stronger Communities Fund.

- through our unique Manchester's Rising Stars Fund, changing the lives of ambitious young Mancunians who face barriers due to disadvantage.

- Being ready when Manchester needs it most, like with the Covid-19 Community Response Fund when they distributed £1million to 300+ groups on the frontline of the crisis, including food banks + domestic violence shelters.
