We are a group of five girls - Rabia, Saadya, Samia, Sumreen & Tahiera - who have decided to participate in the Gaza Winter Walk 2023/24 on the 6th of January in sha’ Allah.

Our hearts are heavy with the ongoing crisis in Palestine, where over 25, 612 Palestinians have been killed in the space of just nine weeks. Among them were 10,091 innocent children whose futures were cut short. Over 1.8 million people have been forced from their homes, and hospitals across the Gaza Strip are struggling to aid survivors of airstrikes that began on October 7th. The numbers are staggering - over 52,000 people have been injured.

Despite all this devastation, the people of Palestine continue to show us what true Tawakkul and Eman look like. Their strength and courage during these turbulent times have been a source of inspiration for us all Alhamdulillah ❤️ However, we cannot ignore the harsh reality that they need our help now more than ever.

That's why we're participating in the Gaza Winter Walk 2023/24 to raise funds for essential items such as food, water, and medicine for those affected by this crisis. We believe that every little bit counts and with your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Our goal is to raise £3,000 for this important cause. We know that together we can achieve this target and make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by this crisis in sha’ Allah.
