Story

Times are incredibly tough for LOROS right now.

For 40 years, LOROS Hospice has been there for our community. But today, they are having to make some difficult decisions to try and secure the long-term future of this well-loved charity. This is a stark reminder of the devastating toll that fiscal policy can have on essential charities.

The truth is, without urgent donations and ongoing support, hospices like LOROS simply won’t be able to care for every patient who needs them.

It’s a heart-breaking position to be in. Much more than essential medical support; LOROS brings comfort, peace, and dignity - a shared laugh, a quiet moment, or simply being there to hold a hand. This care is only possible with the kindness, support and generosity of people like you.

Your donation - no matter the size - will help keep LOROS going. It will ensure that patients facing the end of their lives are not alone, in fear or in pain. It will mean that families can find comfort in the hardest moments and it will bring light in what feels like a very dark time for the hospice sector.
