Sam's Cape Wrath Ultra for Maggies.

Hi All, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You know those things that seem like a good idea over a cold glass or two? Well that!

I am not sure if I have lost my mind since turning 50 but this May I will be taking on my biggest running challenge to date - The Cape Wrath Ultra Marathon. It's an 8 day race where I will cover a total distance of 250miles and throw in some climbing just short of Ben Nevis each day. Its going to be super tough but I have been training hard over the last 12 months to hopefully help me be amongst one of the few who complete this epic challenge, I have even had to give up Prosecco and beer!

I'm going to run the event to raise money for Maggies Centres, that if you don't know, are just wonderful spaces that help support those living with cancer. They are amazing places and if you or anyone close to you has cancer, I would encourage you to drop in. They have been a lifeline to some of our family and friends over the years.
