Story
On 27th April 2025 I am lacing up my running shoes for the the London Marathon 2025. I will be carrying the spirit of my mum with every stride who was taken from us too soon after a brave fight against pancreatic cancer in 2014.
Running & exercise has been my sanctuary, a way to channel grief into something powerful and positive. With each run, I've found strength and focus—a testament to the resilience instilled in me by my mum's courage.
Hospice UK holds a special place in my heart; they represent hope and comfort at life's final crossroads. Witnessing firsthand the compassionate care they provided during my mum's last days has inspired me to support their mission so that others can receive the same level of dignity and love.
Hopsice UK supports over 200 hospices across the UK, helping them deliver the best, most personalised care to 300,000 people each year. But hospices are underfunded and under immense pressure.
My goal is to not only complete the 26.2 miles stretch, but to also raise a MINIMUM of £2,000 which will go directly towards supporting Hospice UK’s invaluable services.
Join me on this journey; whether it be through a donation or simply sharing this cause with friends and family, every step we take together brings us closer to ensuring no one faces the end alone.
