Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to take part in the kilt walk which means walking 14 miles with my work friends from the Gynaecology Ward at crosshouse hospital in the hopes to raise funds for the Children’s ward at Crosshouse hospital. Those close to us know how unwell Mason was with his long stay with them & how he still has hurdles to overcome but they were nothing short of amazing with him.

Each year more than 25,000 babies, children and young people from across Ayrshire require treatment in hospital. With the help of communities in Ayrshire & Arran, Crosshouse Children's Fund raises vital funds to help young patients and their families have the best possible hospital experiences.

By funding pioneering medical equipment and research, supporting families, supporting every child through play, providing bereavement support, and providing practical and emotional support to staff, children receive the extra special care they deserve.
