I am on a four month journey to what hopefully on the 2nd May 2025 will conclude with my final surgery to end over half of my life suffering with Endometriosis.

I quite frankly am petrified, I have had surgery go wrong before but I don’t have a choice as I can’t carry on my life the way it is and has been for 20 years.

Since the age of 17 I have never not been on the countdown to my next operation. I simply cannot sit back and do nothing whilst this horrible disease that impacts over 10 % of the female population not be given the attention it deserves.

It’s time to try change the narrative.

It’s time to abolish the words “women’s problems”

It’s time to try make a difference even if it’s only a small one.

I am running 400k before my surgery on 2nd May, which for me is ambitious as I can’t walk 1k without terrible pain but with strong will and motivation to try and make a difference I can do it!
