Thank you so much for visiting my page.

I will be taking part in an organised Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge walking 24 miles over the 3 highest mountains in Yorkshire along with my amazing friends Lou and Liv who are raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

They are saying Thank you for the amazing care and support offered to their Mum Bernadette during her battle with Breast Cancer that started in 2022 she is a true fighter and rang the bell at the end of her treatment on 12th June 2023.

I am walking in Memory of my much loved mum who i still miss every single day the lovely Patricia or Pat as many people knew her, she sadly lost her battle to Cancer on 11th June 1998 aged 54 years old , without the support that Pendleside offered to my mum and also to our family we would have been lost. Thankyou is not enough.....so when my friends asked me to join them in the challenge i felt quite guilty as i had never completed any event in memory of my mum, so at the ripe old age of 51 I'm going to give it my best shot......fingers crossed.

I also want to mention my Uncle Barry who also had the support and care of Pendleside but who also sadly lost his battle to Cancer.

So i walk in memory of Pat & Barry and also out of gratitude to Pendleside Hospice.

Pendleside Hospice is a pillar of palliative care, offering unwavering support to individuals, families, and carers dealing with the challenges of advancing long term and life limiting illnesses.

Thanks to the generous backing of our community, Pendleside can continue to enhance quality of life and promote independence for our service users and their families. Your contributions are crucial in helping us deliver the exceptional care and support that truly impacts the lives of those in Burnley and Pendle.
