In May 2024, our beloved Sam Walker, passed away after a brief battle with Cholangiocarcinoma.

While it's so inexplicably cruel for her to have been taken so soon and so young from her family, three incredible children and soulmate, we want to continue to spread Sam's positive outlook and zest for life.

That's why, on Sunday 25th August, we are putting on a fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for AMMF - the UK's only charity dedicated solely to bile duct cancer.

Cholangiocarcinoma is the second most primary liver cancer. It is now the cause of over 3,000 deaths a year in the UK and the rate is, quite worryingly, increasing - especially amongst young people and women in particular.

Funds raised will all go directly to AMMF as they continue to: raise awareness of cholangiocarcinoma; encourage/support specialist research into understanding the causes, finding ways to achieve earlier diagnosis for effective treatments for this disease; and providing information to those, like Sam, who need it.
