For my 25th birthday in lieu of flowers or gifts I am hoping to raise money for an amazing charity!

I have been living with Long Covid since 2022 and understand how devastating this condition can be. I am choosing to raise funds for Long Covid Kids for this reason. I cannot imagine what going through Long Covid would have been like in adolescence.

Children don't have the bodily autonomy to protect themselves from repeat infections and are being failed by our governments and medical systems as they, like hundreds of millions across the globe, fall ill with Long Covid and its associated conditions.

Children also struggle to communicate their complex multi-systemic symptoms and are often dismissed. This is why the work Long Covid Kids is doing is so important. LCK raises awareness, supports young people living with Long Covid, supports pediatric biomedical research, and advocates for much needed action such as improving indoor air quality in schools.
