NatWest One Week in September 2024 - Teenage Cancer Trust

OWIS Skydive in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust · 20 September 2024
A team of my colleagues and I are flying to 10,000 feet and then jumping out of the open doorway to travel through the air towards the countryside below. This plummet towards the ground will then be slowed by a parachute at the hands of an instructor.
Why am I doing this daredevil dive? To raise life changing funds to support those age 13-24 facing cancer. Every day seven young people learn they have cancer; each of these people will need specialised nursing care and support to help them face this challenge and show them they’re not alone. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only UK charity dedicate to support these young children to face a challenge none of them can be prepared for.
Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people.
They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment. They run events for young people with cancer to help them regain independence and meet other young people going through something similar. And they provide easy-to-understand information about every aspect of living with cancer as a young person.
I’d like to raise £500 or more in order to support TCT to continue providing valuable support to young people.
£30 could pay for an hour’s nursing card - £100 could pay for half a day’s wellbeing support - £420 could pay for a confidence- building workshop
As you can see your donations can really help support young people facing cancer!
