I have always found it hard to ask for money, but this is something close to my heart. Many people struggle to open up or ask for help when they need it most, and I know first-hand how life-changing it can be to have someone who listens.

When I was 19, I volunteered as a listener for Samaritans, and I saw the incredible impact of their work. Every 10 seconds, a Samaritans volunteer answers a call from someone in distress offering a lifeline in moments of crisis. They are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing support without judgement to anyone struggling to cope.

This April, I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for Samaritans, so they can continue to be there for those who need them. It is donations from people like you that keep this vital service running, and I would be so grateful for any support you can give.
