In April 2025, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).

Less than a year ago, my nephew Henry (7) was involved in an horrifying accident where he was struck by a car. He sustained some potentially life changing injuries that would have turned our world upside down.

Within minutes of the accident, the hero’s at the Air Ambulance Charity were at the scene attending to Henry. Within the hour, Henry was at Major Truama Unit at Kings College Hosptial London. Whilst at King’s, he was treated for a bleed on the brain, broken cheek bones and a broken femur.

Thankfully, Henry being the warrior he is, has made a inspiring recovery so far. He is back to his cheeky self, but we still have a long way to go.

We owe everything to the fantastic first responders at the Air Ambulance Charity and the brilliant NHS staff at Kings College Hosptial.

It costs £20m a year to keep the charity running and it needs kind donations from the public to keep it saving lives. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
