I am attempting the Val De Terres Everest Challenge.

I figure while I am able I put my legs to work - it will be tough to complete 115 laps of the Val de Terres, George Road, Havelet circuit. But for such a worthy cause that helps so many I know it will be worth a bit of personal discomfort and monotony!!

A lovely friend, Saz that we lost to cancer would have definitely joined me for a few laps and kept spirits high and fed me cake 😋 miss her!

Each lap is 1.6KM long and 77M elevation, with a total of 115 laps, is the equivalent total height of Mount Everest (8848M) upon completion.

The challenge is set to run for 30 days, commencing on 1st January.
