Story

This Summer I will be taking on the 4 biggest Lochs in Scotland. Starting with Loch Awe (25 miles) in June before moving on to complete Loch Lomond(24miles) Loch Ness (22.5 miles) and Loch Morar (11.7miles) .The 4 lochs have never been completed by a single swimmer in 1 season. I will be supported by the brilliant team from Swimyourswim who will guide me down the lochs and provide my feeds and support.

In the UK, 153 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day and sadly breast cancer rates are increasing. Each year we lose over 11,000 women to breast cancer - women who are mothers, partners, sisters, and daughters.

I am honoured to be supporting the Build to Beat Breast Cancer appeal, which will raise funds for a state-of-the-art National Breast Imaging Academy at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital.

Training future breast cancer clinicians is key to unlocking increased capacity, shorter waiting times and improved outcomes and survival rates for breast cancer patients, that's why I'm supporting this appeal.

As a charity our mission is simple: to support the excellence in treatment, research and care we provide to our patients each and every day. We want to make a real difference to the people we treat – young and old – by making sure that they continue to receive the very best treatment in the very best facilities.
