Story

Our beautiful daughter Isla was born on 24th June 2022 at 33 weeks gestation. She had dark hair and gorgeous blue eyes, the most perfect baby I’ve ever seen. Isla was in NICU where she was getting stronger each day. However, she sadly developed NEC and passed away when she was 20 days old. Abigail’s Footsteps helped to provide support and guidance to myself and my wife Laura, for which we are both eternally grateful. Islas heroes are running the half marathon to raise money and awareness for the Abigail’s Footsteps charity and to in the memory of our angel, Isla.
