Story

Dear All

I am joining our friend Dr Saira Ali on a 15 mile hike to help raise much needed funds to pay for a BAME support worker for children’s heart surgery. Please could you donate what you can as every penny counts and helps get us closer to providing support to this much needed cause 🙏🏻

1 in 125 babies are born with a heart defect. With over 40 types of heart defect, that makes congenital heart disease (CHD) the most common birth defect worldwide.

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) is the charity which supports the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit (LCHU), the 19 cardiac clinics across the Yorkshire and The Humber, and the 17,000+ patients who live with CHD in our region, from babies right through to adults.

We're walking from Saltaire to Leeds on 1st October to raise life-saving funds for a new BAME Support Worker for Children’s Heart Surgery.

Thank you for your donations and support 🙏🏻❤️
