We are aiming to raise £30,000, which will go directly towards funding up to 140 essential palliative care nursing visits for patients receiving end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes.

Story

Through fundraising for the Flutter International Hospice Half Marathon we are aiming to raise £30,000, which will go directly towards funding up to 140 essential palliative care nursing visits for patients receiving end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes. These visits are critical in ensuring patients and their families receive the compassionate care they deserve during difficult times.

I have chosen to take part in the half marathon and raise additional funds in memory of someone who was very dear to me, in Sally's memory, as a thank you to Hospice for all that they did for Sally and her daughter and my friend Erica, during Sally's time with them!

I recognise that times are tough for everyone financially, but if you are able to donate, no matter how small, I know that together, we can make a real difference to both patients and their loved ones.

Thank you for reading!
