I am taking part in the Get Lippy 60k in May run/jog/walk in memory of my lovely mum, Mags. I sadly lost her in 2019 due to ovarian cancer. At the point of her getting a diagnosis it was too late for her to have any treatment to help her, and we very sadly lost her only a few weeks later, which was heartbreaking. I would love for people to be more aware of gynaecological cancers and the symptoms they show, if my mum was more aware of these symptoms, she might have gone to the doctor sooner.

The Eve Appeal charity offer fantastic support, raise awareness, research and education of gynae cancers and remind us of the symptoms we should be looking out for. Please look them up.
