Story

Hey.....it's me again!

In July 2025, it will be fifteen years since we lost Mum. It has reached the time when I want to give something back to the amazing Cynthia Spencer Hospice where Mum was cared for so beautifully.

As you may know, I have previously taken on two challenges: a Skydive in 2018 and an Abseil in 2022, raising valuable funds for the Hospice. Now is the time for me to take on another.

So, on July 20th 2025, I will be taking part in a 10K run. I have never been, I am not and I will never be a runner - that is why this truly will be a challenge for me. For the other events, I just turned up on the day and did what I had signed up for, albeit with a few nerves. However, I am going to have to learn how to run and then learn how to run a distance - it will be seven months of real training. Gulp.

I'm aiming to raise £500 which itself would fund one day of hospice care. If you are able to donate any amount at all, it will be gratefully received. I have seen how incredible these wonderful places are and how much they care for patients and families alike.

Thank you in advance for any support that you are able to offer. You know that quite ironically, Mum would be giggling away to know that I am taking on this challenge!
