Sue Ryder Mascot Race 2024 · 17 November 2024

On the 17th of November 12 brave companies will be taking on the challenge of running in a Mascot Race all to support their local hospice.

Story

One of our Space Group colleagues is participating in the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice 2024 Mascot race at Cheltenham Racecourse.

This is a cause that is very close to our hearts as they were amazing at looking after the much loved Malcolm Ball who sadly passed away at the hospice having worked at Space Group for many years.

Help us to raise much needed funds so we can continue providing our expert palliative care and bereavement support for patients and families when they need us most.

Our cost of care has increased by 20% in the last three years, while statutory funding has seen an increase of less than 3%.

The vital funding we receive soon won’t stretch as far as we need. And that’s why we need people like you to support us. Your fundraising and support can help us to continue being there when it matters.

How Your Donations Help:

£20 could pay for a patient's meals for the day

£25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love

£145 could help pay for a Sue Ryder Nurse, providing expert, compassionate care for a day

£600 could help fund 24 hours of expert
