We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Lizzie was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2018 and died only 9 months later, just before her 10th birthday.

This July, Mark and I are walking a marathon along the Stour Valley Path with our friend Angela, who lost her son William to a brain tumour in 2022. Accompanied by lots of friends and family, our marathon walk will finish in Nayland on the banks of the River Stour, where we all live.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young people, so we are committed to fundraising for a cure in Lizzie and William’s memory. Lizzie’s Fund has raised over £500,000 for research into childhood brain tumours through The Brain Tumour Charity, the world's leading brain tumour charity.
