Story
On Sunday, 2nd June 2024, rugby league legend Rob Burrow CBE sadly passed away after living with Motor Neurone Disease following a diagnosis in late 2019.
Alongside the Burrow Family, Rob since his diagnosis has helped raised millions for charities and research regarding MND, with his teammate and close friend Kevin Sinfield undertaking several tough physical challenges, all with the goal of raising funds and profile of MND and the MND Association.
In a bid to assist the fundraising for the MND Association, the St.Helens First Team has signed a Saints 2024 home shirt which has Burrow #7 printed on the back, a shirt which the day after Rob's death was placed in the home changing rooms at the Totally Wicked Stadium next to a Leeds Rhinos Burrow legends shirt, as a small tribute to the great man.
Every donation of £5 or more to this campaign will see the donator's name entered into a raffle draw which St. Helens will make on Sunday, 7th of July.
Please note the following
- Anonymous donations sadly cannot be entered into the draw unfortunately
- There will be no physical raffle tickets
- The Club's Ticket Office cannot take payment to participate in this raffle
- The Club will only be contacting the winning donator
