A powerful storm in Libya has caused two dams to collapse, causing catastrophic damage in the north-east city of Derna. More than 3,500 people are reported dead, and 9,000 are reported missing. Help UNICEF reach children and families affected.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I'm fundraising to help children affected by the flooding in Libya.

More than 3,500 people are reported dead, and 9,000 people are reported missing. 300,000 children are affected, and numbers are rising.

People have been stranded in their homes with no electricity and access to water. Some have been evacuated and given temporary shelter in schools, hotels, and relatives’ houses. Three main hospitals and four clinics are completely out of service.

UNICEF is responding urgently to this disaster, supporting the Government of Libya to reach affected children and families with life-saving supplies and services.

As a Libyan myself I want to support the country and families who have lost their homes and loved ones. Please help and give what you can.
