Swimming 26 miles

Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Helpline, the Pets Project, Survivor Advocacy support services, and emergency Refuge accommodation.

Story

I am 14 years old and I am swimming 26 miles in October to raise funds for Juno Women's Aid Pet's Project, which provides temporary homes for pets of women and children leaving abusive relationships.

It is very upsetting to know that partners can threaten to harm or kill pets to prevent women from leaving abusive relationships.

This is why I want to help Juno Women's Aid provide safe places for these innocent animals while their owners change their lives.

With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of these women, children, and their beloved pets.

Please donate generously to my cause and help me reach my target of £500. Your contribution will go a long way in supporting this worthy cause. There is a raffle for all donations of £10 or more (1 ticket for £10, 2 tickets for £20 etc). Prizes include donated items from Paul Smith, Roko and items from talented neighbours (Christmas cake, crochet bag and more) [Raffle only open to UK residents]
