All Sacha's major breakthroughs have been associated with NAPA intensives: standing, walking, crawling, managing stairs etc. Hitherto though, he has struggled to make substantial progress with communication.

This time at NAPA we are seeing amazing early signs on this level, working with a new system called LAMP. So far, Sacha has been massively surpassing our expectations for engagement with this approach. This is a system with scope for open-ended building of vocabulary etc, which would raise the prospect of a path into real language use, if we can keep up the momentum.

Most of this intensive has been already covered from previous donations. We are fundraising now to cover the shortfall.
